Well... I can imagen easily how fast it will be. AI is not a long-learning human brain, so it is better and better every moment.
Artists' minds should be trained for years and it's a long biological process because we are growing our minds and skills and hand motor functions, our aesthetics, and knowledge from the world around us. Very annoying and frustrating process.
Much easier just to generate from a few words, copy and try again if it doesn't work.
So let's imagine a world in 5 years when people stop learning how to draw and algorithms will use generated pictures, photos, and videos...Of course, old skilled artists will continue to make art because they cannot stop doing it.
But for future generations, it will be zero motivation to start this long way.
